Benji is the oldest of the Legacies and blends curiosity with caution most of the times.

“Exactly, it’s a magic bridge. What if we are in the middle of crossing it and then woosh! The bridge suddenly disappears and we all fall into the ravine.”

Element: Nature

Faya is the youngest of the Legacy, but that doesn’t stop her from taking care of others. Don’t let her looks fool you either, she can be scary when she wants to be.

“Are you going to keep on interrupting him every time he tells you to do something? If you are, we’re going to be here for a while. So please, just be quiet and listen.”

Element: Water

Always energetic and fierce is the kind of person Naida is. She may have a temper, but she always has her friends back.

“We are being robbed, and you want me to stay calm?”

Element: Fire/Light

Cai is the appointed leader of the Legacies. While he doubts why he’s the leader, he always tries his best to be a good one.

“Oh, I’ve never been the type to be afraid of gh-spirits. Actually, I always wanted to meet one.”

Element: Light

Luam used to work at the Temple of Knowledge and was chosen to watch over the Legacies at Sanctuary. Despite it being his duty, Luam couldn’t help be care for each of the children as if they were his own.

“If you’re done eating, we should get started. Cai, Naida, I’ll meet you outside after I am done cleaning up.”

First Appearance: End of Chapter 3 in Book 1

Element: Air

The only Legacy to not make it to Sanctuary, Bayu is a little rough around the edges. Hanging out with bandits was definitely not his best decision but it doesn’t define the kind of person he is.

“There are multiple ways that a story can be told. It can be spoken out loud, sang in a song, or transcribed on paper. Murals or paintings can also describe a story, just not as straight forward as the other ways.”

Element: Creature

Blythe is a caring but mischievous person. Her warm and friendly nature makes others feel immediately comfortable with her even if they just met her.

“You lizards are ridiculous!”

Element: Creature

Filled with wisdom from her life, she never hesitates to share it with others. Anise always hopes for a better future.

“I understand. I feel the same way about my family. I died and left them behind, but I believe that they are doing just fine.”

Element: Magic/Light

Celeste is both the Head Priestess and Caretaker of the Temple of Serenity. She often stands back and watches others grow but will always be there if she is needed.

“That’s because I believe you all can take care of yourselves now. The whole point of the Sanctuary in the first place was to give you a safe place to grow up. Now that you can take care of yourself, there’s no reason to keep you isolated anymore. That being said, you are always welcome back if you ever need help.”

Ruxana works very hard to bring peace to the people, but she can be a bit impatient in her mission. She is aware of this and tries to not let it cause any more mistakes than it already have.

“It did seal away the Great Evil, but it seems to be only temporary. I can feel the seal getting weaker.”

Element: Magic

Kailion lives in the Woods of Whispers, spending his days in self-imposed isolation. In his younger years, he let his curiosity beat out his caution and now he pays the price.

“My apologies for my appearance. I hope I didn’t scare you.”
